Kuća Marta from the front: a white wooden house with a balcony and red railing, stone steps, stacked firewood and birches around it

La casa, por fuera y por dentro

  • The house balcony with a wicker chair and a small table, orange geraniums on the wooden railing, birches and blue sky beyond
  • A wooden table with a red-and-white checked cloth and a bench behind the house, below the dry-stone wall and the tree-lined lawn
  • The wood-panelled living room, its corner sofa, turquoise rug and shelves of lanterns and copper pots
  • The dining area, an oval table under a green-and-red checked cloth and framed mushroom charts on the wall
  • The cast-iron wood stove against the stone chimney breast, a rocking chair and the dining table by the terrace door
  • The main bedroom under the roof, lined in wood, with a double bed, a dark-red throw and bedside lamps
  • The main bedroom from another angle, folded towels on the bed, a patterned round rug and the door out to the balcony
  • The smaller attic bedroom, with two single beds, a chest of drawers with a lamp, and a roof window
