The space
How the house is laid out
Kuća Marta is a rustic wooden house on two floors. Downstairs there is a living room with a wood-burning fireplace, a well equipped kitchen and a dining area. Upstairs there are two bedrooms and the bathroom.
Almost everything is made of wood, so the house has a warmth and a smell that cannot be added afterwards. The whole place is yours, with no shared rooms and no other guests.
A few things worth knowing in advance: the stairs to the upper floor are narrow and steep, the second bedroom is small and suits children best, and a railway line runs across the field behind the house, so you will occasionally hear a train. Guests usually do not mind, but we would rather say it beforehand than after.
